1 Eligibility for Shipping
- Recipient Must Be an FFL Dealer
Firearms will only be shipped to a verified Federal Firearms License dealer. Firearms cannot be shipped directly to an individual customer.
- Verification of Federal Firearms License
- The receiving dealer’s Federal Firearms License must be verified before the firearm is shipped.
- A current copy of the license must be provided to Jackson Arms LLC by email or through our FFL license verification page before the order can be processed.
2 Shipping Process
- Carrier Selection
- Firearms are shipped using carriers authorized to transport firearm shipments.
- Adult signature confirmation may be required upon delivery.
- Secure Packaging
- Firearms will be securely packaged to reduce the risk of damage during transit.
- Exterior packaging will not contain markings that identify the contents as a firearm.
- Approved Shipping Address
- Firearms will only be shipped to the premises address or other authorized address associated with the receiving dealer’s license.
- Shipping address changes may not be permitted after the order has entered processing.
- Restricted Jurisdictions
Firearms will not be shipped to jurisdictions where the firearm or transaction is prohibited. Customers are responsible for confirming that a purchase is lawful in their jurisdiction before placing an order.
3 Order Requirements
- Customer Information
Customers may be required to provide:
- A valid government-issued photo ID.
- Accurate contact, billing, and order information.
- Compliance Review
Orders may be reviewed or temporarily held to confirm compliance with applicable laws, regulations, carrier requirements, and company policies.
- Processing Time
Eligible orders typically ship within 5 to 10 business days after payment confirmation and receipt of all required FFL documentation.
Processing reminder: Processing time begins only after all required payment, customer, and FFL information has been received and verified.
4 Returns and Refused Shipments
- Undeliverable or Refused Packages
When a package is refused or returned because of an issue involving the receiving FFL dealer, the customer may be responsible for return shipping charges and a restocking fee of 10% to 15%.
- Damaged or Lost Shipments
Lost or damaged shipment claims must be reported promptly. Jackson Arms LLC will provide reasonable assistance with the carrier claims process as appropriate.
- Inspection Before Transfer
Customers should inspect the firearm at the receiving dealer before accepting the transfer. Customers should contact Jackson Arms LLC before completing the transfer if an item is incorrect or appears damaged.
5 Legal Compliance
- Buyer Responsibility
- Buyers are responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing firearm possession, ownership, and transfer.
- Orders may be canceled when a transaction cannot lawfully be completed.
- Information may be provided to appropriate authorities when legally required.
- Background Check and Transfer
The receiving FFL dealer is responsible for completing the legally required transfer process, including identification verification, required forms, background checks, waiting periods, and applicable state or local requirements.
- Export Restrictions
Firearms purchased from Jackson Arms LLC cannot be shipped outside the United States through standard retail orders.
